• Interested in a challenging high school experience that will prepare you for college or a career?   Tech High is a fast-paced, enthusiastic learning environment focusing on collaborative, meaningful learning projects that will train you to be an analytical thinker and problem solver.  We may be a small high school, but we offer great experiences.  Our campus is large with a tranquil, park-like setting.

Our school's capacity is just over 600 students.  Please keep in mind that our classrooms are the same size as any traditional high school.

Successful candidates have a genuine love for their program and are passionate about challenges.  Students will have 1 – 2 hours of daily homework and individual/group projects.  Our academic classes are taught at an honors level.  Each program offers industry certifications, many of which translate to college credit.  Most programs have specific dress-code requirements.

All Tech High School students have to apply for placement.  Apply using your Parent Focus Portal.

Students may apply throughout Pinellas County for the following programs - Building, Digital Art, Electricity, Game Simulation Programming, Marine Mechanics and Nursing.  Transportation is offered only to mid-county residents of zoned high schools of Clearwater HS, Hollins HS, Largo HS, Pinellas Park HS, and Seminole HS.

Our Veterinary program is limited to students who live south of Ulmerton Road; however, transportation is provided from Ulmerton Road south and throughout St. Petersburg only for the Veterinary program.
