Senior Mural:This year we plan to start a new tradition to have a mural created by a professional artist that represents each graduating class and their experience while at ELHS. To ensure it captures the entire class of 2023, we need everyone’s help. Please have your senior provide their input in the short 4 question survey ASAP, no later than Sunday. This is event is expected to end around 11:00am and Ms. Stang will send out further information regarding items like dress code and what to expect at the breakfast. After the Senior Breakfast, there will be a MANDATORY Senior Assembly at 12:00pm in the East Lake High School Gymnasium for all 2023 graduates. At this assembly, students will be provided information surrounding what to expect at the graduation ceremony, receive some information from their counselors, and more, along with receiving their cap/gown/tassels, their yard signs, and read cards which secures their spot in line during graduation.
This will also be used to verify the pronunciation of their names for our reader Mrs. Mobley when they walk across the stage. After the assembly, students will have the opportunity to participate in our sponsored Senior BBQ Celebration that will take place on the football field for all seniors free of charge.
It is important to note that if your senior is not attending the Senior Breakfast, they will still need to attend the Senior Assembly in the gym at 12:00pm and will also be expected to attend their classes throughout the day prior to the assembly per usual.
