PCS announces Support Employee of the Year semifinalists

The semifinalists in the 2018-2019 Support Employee of the Year recognition program were named for Pinellas County Schools. They were selected from a group of 106 nominees.


Semifinalists for 2018-19 were chosen in five categories:


Classroom Support
•Elizabeth Cadmus, Lynch Elementary School,  Physical Education Teaching Assistant
•Robyn Craddock, Calvin Hunsinger ESE Center,  ESE Associate
•Pamela Evans, Sandy Lane Elementary School, Family and Community Liaison

 

Clerical
•Cindy Brittin, Belleair Elementary School, Front Office Clerk
•Cassandra Holt, James B. Sanderlin, Secretary/Bookkeeper
•Kasie Ivory, Countryside High School, Office Clerk II


Food Service
•Miriam Ayala, Sanders ESE Center, Food Service Assistant
•Nancy Bauder, Lealman Elementary School, Food Service Manager
•Rodney Heet, Seminole Middle School, Cafeteria Manager


Maintenance/Safety/Health/Transportation
•Anthony Langhorne, Transportation, Transportation Field Operations Supervisor
•Andrea Rosario, McMullen Booth Elementary School, School Nurse
• Shakida Smith, Transportation, Transportation Field Operations Supervisor

Plant Operations
•Petko Gavrilovic, Dixie Hollins High School, Plant Operations, Night Foreman
•Steve Norris, Curlew Creek Elementary School, Head Plant Operator
•Jerry Workman, Pinellas Technical College, Clearwater,  Head Plant Operator


On Nov. 30, a top winner in each category will be announced. The five category finalists will be eligible to become the overall winner as the 2018-2019 Support Employee of the Year. That winner will be announced at a luncheon on Jan. 11 at Feather Sound Country Club. The semifinalists and finalists will be recognized at the event as well. The overall winner will be nominated as the district’s representative for the Florida School-Related Employee of the Year.
