Professional Development director Lou Cerreta received the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) Excellence in Educational Leadership Award. Cerreta was nominated for the award by the faculty at the University of South Florida. This award was established to provide national recognition to practicing school administrators who have made significant contributions to the improvement of administrator preparation.
As a result of the award, Cerreta will appear in the next issue of UCEA Review, a newsletter that reaches educators all over the world. He has also been invited to join other UCEA award winners at the organization’s November 2017 national convention in Denver, Colo.
