New Spotlight on Success features student Angelika Morris

June 5, 2017

The 2017 valedictorian of Boca Ciega High School, Angelika Morris, is featured in the district's Spotlight on Success series.

Morris, who was a student at the Center for Wellness and Medical Professions (CWMP) Academy, has announced that she will attend Princeton University in the fall and major in either public health or neuroscience. She said CWMP paved the way by teaching her background medical information, helping her secure a paid internship at a local psychiatry office, and allowing her to get the EKG certification.

In addition to doing well in 13 AP courses and juggling a job and extracurricular activities during high school, Morris started Angel's Bags, a foundation that donates food to people in need.
