Jennifer Gilby’s advocacy for women and children in the community earned her recognition from the Florida Holocaust Museum. The Palm Harbor University High student received the 2017 Anne Frank Humanitarian Award.

The award honors outstanding humanitarian efforts by high school juniors. Jennifer founded a student group that raises money and creates care packages for women in shelters. She also volunteers as an instructor for a dance class for children with disabilities.
Tampa Bay Newspapers recently featured her honor.
