Four Pinellas students were invited to participate in the Advancement Via Individual Determination Student Leaders program at AVID’s Summer Institute.
Students selected for the program were:
Owen Papp and Ben Huynh of Palm Harbor Middle School, Candice Johnson of Tyrone Middle School and Haely Gazmey of East Lake High School.
At the program, students had the opportunity to learn leadership strategies and participate in leadership activities with other students. The program is aimed at helping students:
