Local businesses invited to participate in new internship program

Pinellas County Schools and the Pinellas Education Foundation are seeking business partners to host student interns in the Summer Career Acceleration Program.

The Summer Career Acceleration Program prepares students for the workforce, providing a paid summer internship and an industry certification.

 

Interns will be paid through a grant, so there will be no cost to employers. Interested businesses can learn more at the Summer Career Acceleration Program Kickoff, 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Stavros Institute's Achieva Conference Room in Largo. Sign up to attend the kickoff event.
