VPK REGISTRATION EVENT

Pinellas County Schools and the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas are hosting a special VPK Registration Event. The event will take place in St. Petersburg on July 24.

Families will be able to register for VPK for the 2021-2022 school year and:

  • Get step-by-step help!
  • Learn about FREE full-day VPK options.
  • Get a Certificate of Eligibility (voucher)!

Prekindergarten programs prepare children for success in kindergarten and beyond. To participate in VPK, children must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year they are enrolled. To attend VPK, students must have a Certificate of Eligibility from the Early Learning Coalition. Please note: VPK programs are popular and have limited availability.

At all VPK programs, children attend free for three hours each day. In the upcoming school year, 25 elementary schools will offer a free full-day, six-hour program.

Make sure to bring your Florida Driver's License or another government-issued ID. You’ll also need these items:

  • Birth certificate/proof of child’s age
  • Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH Form 680)
  • Physical examination certificate by a licensed examiner

The event will be held 10 am to noon, July 24, at Lakeview Fundamental, 2229 25th Street South, St. Petersburg.
