Cornhole, Jenga, door prizes, food and a beautiful sunset were all a part of the New Teacher Social which was held at the Duval Conference Room at Clearwater Beach’s Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. Hosted by the Talent and Acquisition team, teachers new to the district were invited to meet one another, trade new teacher stories and socialize. There were also informational booths that provided information about graduate school and financial planning. Some of the door prizes included a stay at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa and the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Amazon and Publix gift cards and Tampa Bay Rays tickets.
