Visitors and the Word and Image Exhibition

The artists, including 14 award-winners, were honored Saturday at a ceremony for the 2021 Word and Image High School Exhibition.

The exhibit, now in its 24th year, showcases original student artwork and writing fashioned into a unified piece. This year’s theme is “The Most Magnificent Thing."

Artworks in the exhibit were chosen from 221 submissions. Works of art will be on display at the Morean Arts Center, 719 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg, through Nov. 28. Artworks can also be viewed in the PCS Student Virtual Art Gallery
