High school juniors can apply now for the Executive Internship Program for the 2022-2023 school year. The application period is open through Feb. 11.

The  Executive Internship Program, EIP,  gives students opportunities to gain experience and expertise in career fields that interest them.

Students are coached and mentored academically and experientially to develop skills that promote self-directed learning, self-awareness, goal setting, creative problem solving and cross-cultural sensitivity. They spend 10-15 hours per week with sponsors and gain insight into the qualities, skills and knowledge that help professionals perform effectively.

"EIP is not only dedicated to student growth and success, but also to preparing students to face the future with poise and self-confidence,” said program coordinator Dr. Mary C. Black. “I am proud to coordinate this exceptional learning experience."

To qualify for the program, students must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more and meet other criteria. Find out about the EIP and apply at www.pcsb.org/eip.
