Prekindergarten application period opens Jan. 18

Pinellas County Schools offers a prekindergarten program for 3-year-olds and a free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program for 4-year-olds for three hours a day. The application period for Pre-K for 3-year-olds and VPK is Jan. 18-31.
During the application period, families can apply online for programs next school year at reservation.pcsb.org. Parents will need to log back into the district’s Student Reservation System March 1-11 to accept an invitation.
The school district will be providng a Facebook Live/YouTube Live session to help families with application process.

5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19: Join us to find out about Prekindergarten and VPK opportunities. Early childhood education experts will be on hand to explain the application process and answer your questions.

Pre-K 3 is for children who will be 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2022. For information about Pre-K 3, visit www.pcsb.org/prek3 or call 727-588-6000 ext. 2184.
VPK is for children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2022. Parents interested in VPK also need a Certificate of Eligibility (voucher) from the Early Learning Coalition. To get the certificate, visit the Early Learning Coalition website at www.vpkpinellas.net.. If you have questions about the certificate, call 727-400-4411.
