Students awarded scholarships at the 36th Annual MLK Leadership Awards event

Hosted by the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) St. Petersburg Metropolitan Section, the event honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and recognized community members who exemplify his ideas and vision. All scholarship winners are in the class of 2022. This year’s theme was "Moving Forward."
The keynote speaker was St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch. The virtual event also featured other dynamic speakers and a musical medley. For more details, see the event link.
