Power of ThanksGiving Celebration

The Ryan Nece Foundation partnered with community organizations to provide a Thanksgiving meal and plenty of family-friendly activities at the Power of ThanksGiving Pinellas Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 17.

More than 680 people were served, including nearly 250 children. The celebration was for John Hopkins Middle families and families referred by local community service agencies.

In addition to hot Thanksgiving meals, the celebration featured live entertainment, face painting, crafts and books for children. Families were also provided with a box of food for the coming week.

The foundation’s first Power of ThanksGiving celebration took place in Pinellas in 2018, and, each year, the foundation has been committed to supporting families at the festive event.
