Pinellas County Schools and the Pinellas Education Foundation announced the top mentors and mentoring programs at a special event on Jan. 19. The event took place in recognition of National Mentoring Month. We appreciate all our mentors who donate their time and energy to make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.

The awards were announced during the Mentoring Coffee Hour, which was first established in September of 2021 during the COVID health crisis. The coffee hours gave mentors opportunities to meet virtually, network and share experiences. This month’s gathering was the first Mentoring Coffee Hour to meet in-person.
