Pinellas boasts two state wrestling champs

Boca Ciega sophomore Kinea More earned the top spot for the 235-pound weight class, and Countryside High senior Brian Burburija won the state championship in the 195-pound weight class.
Eight girls and 14 boys from Pinellas County Schools competed in the state wrestling championship tournament in Kissimmee March 2-4.
Several other wrestlers made Pinellas proud, placing in the state championships:
Girls Wrestling:
Countryside - Cerenity Whiting – 6th place - 190 pounds
Palm Harbor – Jullianna Caisse – 6th place – 125 pounds
Palm Harbor – Sophie Booe – 7th place – 100 pounds

Countryside – Landon Bates – 3rd place – 126 pounds
Palm Harbor – Joseph Cuttitta – 4th place – 160 pounds

Countryside – Hernand Pinto – 8th place – 113 pounds
