The winners were celebrated at a banquet earlier this month.
There were more than 30 nominations for Social Studies Teachers of the Year. Congratulations to this year's winners:
- Middle School: Valeria Higgins
- High School: Kaitlin Marshall
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Tracey Colton
Dr. Roger Block from the Seminole Historical Society spoke about the Tocobaga tribe and its rich history in Florida.
