PCS is kicking off mentor workshops this week. There are mentorship opportunities for volunteers of all ages.
According to research, students who have a mentor have better attendance, perform better academically, and are more likely to graduate from high school and attend college or trade school. They are also less likely to use drugs or alcohol.
A Mentor Workshop is the first step to becoming a Pinellas County Schools mentor. There are virtual and face-to-face opportunities. Learn more and register.
