PTC campuses will be hosting Open House events in October. At the events, prospective students will have a chance to explore career programs and meet instructors, counselors and financial aid specialists. PTC offers more than 60 programs and provides training in 40 career areas.
Open houses will feature free haircuts by the PTC Barbering Program. The St. Petersburg event will also feature hors d’oeuvres provided by the Professional Culinary Arts & Hospitality Program, COVID-19 Vaccines, and free hair braiding and fingernail polishing by the Cosmetology Program. The Clearwater event will also feature free health screenings by the Nursing Program and a lighting and music demo by the Stage Production Program.

Most programs can be completed in a year or less. Online and on-campus classes are available.
Pinellas Technical College recently earned the top People's Choice prize for vocational colleges.
Open house events will take place:
- Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at PTC St. Petersburg Campus, 901 34th St S.
- Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at PTC St. Clearwater Campus, 6100 154th Ave N.
