State Rep. Kathy Castor visited Jamerson Elementary science teacher Rafael Robinson's classroom on Oct. 31 to congratulate him on being named the Florida Association of Science Educator’s Outstanding Science Teacher of the Year.
Robinson, a 20-year educator with Pinellas County Schools, received the honor at the FAST annual conference on Oct. 20. The Outstanding Science Educator Award is intended to recognize the singular contributions of an individual promoting Science education over a significant period of time in Florida.
In attendance were Superintendent Hendricks, School Board member Caprice Edmond, City Council Member John Muhammad, community leaders and many other supporters.
