Color Guard teams make PCS proud at the state FFCC Championships

Seven Pinellas teams brought home awards from the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) Championships.
Both Tarpon Springs High and Seminole Middle secured first-place awards.
The competition took place in Daytona Beach from March 28-30. The Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) offers a competitive outlet for color guard, indoor marching percussion and concert percussion teams and Winds. The competitive season begins in January and culminates in circuit championships in April.
Pinellas County schools were well represented, with schools competing in each of the scholastic classes. Congratulations to all the award-winning teams:
- Scholastic World Class – Tarpon Springs High School - 1st Place - High School
- Cadet Class – Seminole Middle School - 1st place - Middle School
- Scholastic Open Class - Seminole High School - 3rd Place
- Regional A Class – Palm Harbor University - 3rd Place
- Scholastic A Class- St. Petersburg High School - 4th Place, Largo High School - 8th Place
- Scholastic AA Class – Tarpon Springs Middle School - 4th Place, East Lake High School - 7th Place
- Scholastic A Class – Tarpon Springs High School Arts - 4th Place
