PCS Police chief recognizes officers of the year

The School Board recognized the individuals who were named the SRO/SRD, SSO/Guardian, and Campus Activities Monitor of the year at their meeting on Tuesday. Honorees were introduced by Chief Luke Williams and honored with a plaque and a photo with board members.
The Inaugural Michael A. Hawkins-School Resource Officer/Deputy of the Year Award:
School Resource Officers Paul Comini and Brett Faulk – Countryside High School - Clearwater Police
The School Safety Officer/Guardian of the Year Award:
SSO Yaritza Ramos – Douglas L Jamerson Jr. Elementary School
The Jesse Dorsey- Campus Activities Monitor of the Year Award:
CAM John Darby – Lakewood High School
The winners were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the safe educational environments they’ve created for our students and staff. The full list of nominees will be recognized at the annual SRO/SRD, SSO/Guardian, and Campus Activities Monitor training prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
