School Board unanimously adopts Referendum Resolution
May 14, 2024
The School Board unanimously adopted a Pinellas County Schools Referendum Resolution at Tuesday's regular meeting.
The Resolution directs the Pinellas County Commissioners to place the Referendum on the Nov. 5 ballot.
Funds from the one-mill property tax would recruit and retain quality teachers and support staff, preserve music, art and reading classes and provide current technology.
Charter schools would receive Referendum funding based on their student enrollment.
An independent committee oversees the distribution of funds to ensure that money is spent as voters intended.
