CTAE Executive Director Mark Hunt to receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Executive Director of Career, Technical and Adult Education Mark Hunt will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Florida Association of Technical Educators (FACTE). He was surprised with the news this week.
 

Mr. Hunt joined the district in 2014 after serving as Senior Director of Career and Technical Education for Orange County. He has been a catalyst for change, transforming the landscape of career and technical education in Hillsborough, Orange, Osceola, and Pinellas counties.

Mr. Hunt began his educational career as a lead automotive instructor in the Hillsborough County School District in 1990. He has served as a teacher on special assignment for industrial education and as an administrative resource teacher for work-based learning programs. Additionally, he served for two years as director for career technical and adult education in Osceola County.

The award will be presented to Mr. Hunt at the annual FACTE Conference &Trade Show in mid-July.
