Pinellas Educational Support Professionals Association approves salary agreement with Pinellas County Schools

PESPA’s bargaining unit employees have voted, and 96% are in favor of a salary agreement with the school district for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

In the agreement, the Pinellas County School Board will provide the following to employees covered under this bargaining unit:

  • A $0.75/hour salary increase for all employees, retroactive to July 1, 2024.
  • Board coverage of 80% of the increase in health care premiums.

PESPA agreed to minor changes in contract language to update the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which will improve working conditions, effective 2024-2027.

The agreement will be brought to the School Board for approval at the regular School Board meeting on Aug. 21, 2024.
