District celebrates 133 Teachers of the Year

Pinellas County Schools joined the Pinellas Education Foundation to honor 133 Teachers of the Year from schools throughout the district. The new event, called the Teachers of the Year Luncheon, took place at Clearwater Marine Aquarium on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The celebration was created to better honor Teachers of the Year from all schools. In addition to Superintendent Hendrick, speakers included 2024 PCS Teacher of the Year, Gerard Madrinan; CEO of Pinellas Education Foundation, Kim Jowell; and Sandra Lozada, Director of Client Management and Wellness at Aetna (event sponsor).
