Seventy-five student works of art were selected for exhibit at the Morean Arts Center. The Word and Image Arts in Education Partnership High School Exhibition will be on display through Nov. 30.
The unique exhibit showcases original student art and writing in one work. This year’s theme is “My Favorite Thing.” High school students created works of art and composed personal narratives related to this theme.
The Morean Arts Center is located at 719 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. The public can view the artwork by visiting the Morean Art Center during regular business hours or by visiting the online PCS Student Virtual Art Gallery.
A reception and awards ceremony was held earlier this month. Congratulations to all the students selected for the exhibit.
