Johnathan Cruz, an eighth grader at Dunedin Highland Middle School, won the state-coordinated Art in the Capitol Competition. His winning artwork is titled "Florida Hotspots."
The theme for this school year was “Florida Fun!”
Jonathan lives in Florida District 58. State Representative Kimberly Berfield will transport his artwork to Tallahassee, where it will be displayed with other winning artworks during the 2025 Florida legislative session.
