Learn about resources and educational opportunities for English learners at the ESOL Community Resource Fair

The PCS English for Speakers of Other Languages department is collaborating with about 50 community partners to provide resources to families who speak native languages other than English.

The ESOL Community Resource Fair will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Countryside High. The school is located at 3000 SR 580 in Clearwater.

The event will showcase academic, financial, and social services, including tutoring, scholarships and healthcare. Learn about:

• Career and college opportunities for students and parents
• Tutoring for children and adults
• Health services for children and young adults
• Free social services
• English classes for adults
• Technical, vocational and GED programs
• Refugee services and immigration materials
• St Petersburg College programs

Families will have opportunities to meet Pinellas County Schools counselors, Exceptional Student Education representatives, and Student Assignment staff. Human Resources recruiters will also be on hand to share information about job opportunities.
