PCS recognizes Student Services Employees for exemplifying the district's Core Values
Feb. 3, 2025
Six dedicated Student Services professionals received annual recognition for exemplifying our district's core values. They were honored at the Jan. 28 School Board meeting.
Pinellas County Schools has implemented a new recognition process that replaces our previous Student Services Employee of the Year recognition program. This year, employees were selected based on PCS Praise nominations submitted by their peers. The awards recognize one employee for each of the district's Core Values.
Student Services professionals play a critical role in fostering high student achievement by identifying and addressing barriers to academic success and resiliency. Through dedicated efforts, they provide tailored services to meet the unique needs of all students. The Student Services team includes school counselors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and prevention staff, who all work collaboratively to support students' overall development.
Congratulations to our incredible Student Services honorees who exemplify our district's Core Values!
