The ESOL Community Resource Fair attracted nearly 250 English Learner family participants.
The event,which featured 65 vendors, was held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Countryside High. Some of the many resources included health services, financial services, college opportunities, job opportunities, transportation, infant and early childhood services, and services for individuals who are deaf and blind.
In addition to ESOL and World Languages, various district departments were on hand. Families received language support in Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic and Russian. Ten student volunteers also helped make the event a success.
