Student artwork selected for display in the High School Visual Metaphors Exhibition

Sixty scholars were honored for having their artwork selected for the High School Visual Metaphors Exhibition. They were recognized during a reception at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art in Tarpon Springs on Feb. 27. Nine students received awards at the ceremony.
Best in Show went to East Lake senior Mckayla Carwile for her drawing titled "Pigging Out." Hollins High 10th grader Amilya Valltos won first place for her digital art titled "Uncharted Waters."
The exhibit can be viewed in the PCS Student Virtual Arts Gallery.
