Pinellas students win multiple awards at the FBLA State Competition

Seven teams from Pinellas schools won first place at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Competition in Orlando in late March. More than 500 Pinellas students competed, and at least 50 have qualified to compete in the national competition in Anaheim, California, June 29-July 2.
The first-place teams came from six schools, including two middle schools: East Lake and Fitzgerald middle schools, and Countryside, Osceola, Palm Harbor, and St. Petersburg high schools.
Winning categories included Network Design, Exploring Parliamentary Procedure, Video Game Challenges, Health Care Administration, Introduction to Programming, Partnership with Business Projects and Introduction to Information Technology.
