PCS announces Support Employee of the Year semifinalists

The semifinalists in the 2019-2020 Support Employee of the Year recognition program were named for Pinellas County Schools. They were selected from a group of 135 nominees.
Semifinalists for 2019-2020 were chosen in five categories:
Classroom Support

•Marie Jantschek, Osceola Fundamental High School, Secretary IV
Food Service
•Regina Dixon, Gibbs High School, Food Service Manager
•Stacey Kopita, Orange Grove Elementary School, Food Service Assistant

Maintenance/Safety/Health/Transportation

On Nov. 20, a top winner in each category will be announced. The five category finalists will be eligible to become the overall winner as the 2019-2020 Support Employee of the Year. That winner will be announced at a luncheon on, Friday, Jan. 10 at Feather Sound Country Club. The semifinalists and finalists will be recognized at the event as well. The overall winner will be nominated as the district’s representative for the Florida School-Related Employee of the Year.
