Prepare your child for kindergarten this summer! Enroll in a special program for children who will enter kindergarten in August 2025. Registration for Rising Kindergarten opens on Tuesday, March 25.

You can register by using the Focus system. If you have not yet registered your child for kindergarten, you will need to use Focus to enroll in kindergarten first.
Risking Kindergarten (Rising K) will be offered June 2-26, Monday through Thursday, at Summer Bridge Elementary sites throughout the county.
Children will sing, play and dance the day away, while they prepare for a successful start in kindergarten.
Summer VPK will be offered at the Bette Ra Ivey Discovery Center in Pinellas Park.
Summer VPK is an option for families who have not used their Certificate of Eligibility (voucher) from the Early Learning Coalition. Please visit elcpinellas.org to apply for the voucher. Schedules for Summer VPK differ from those for Summer VPK.
