Clearwater High seniors win JROTC scholarships

Three Clearwater High School Marine Corps JROTC student-cadets were awarded Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarships. Leticia Andrade, William Fineran and Javier Mut all received full college scholarships.
Cadet Major Leticia Andrade is the senior ranking cadet in Clearwater High’s MCJROTC program and received a $180,000 scholarship for full tuition, an annual book stipend and a monthly stipend. She will attend the University of South Florida in the fall and plans to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
Cadets Second Lieutenant William Fineran and Javier Mut each received the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University NROTC scholarships for $220,000. William is a platoon commander in charge of approximately 25 cadets. He will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and plans to pursue a degree in aerospace engineering. Javier is also a platoon commander in charge approximately 30 cadets. He will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and plans to pursue a degree in aerospace engineering.
