New teachers get support to prepare them for the school year

The district’s Professional Development Department recently started its 2019 Springboard to Success program with an orientation session at Ridgecrest Elementary. Springboard to Success is a free teacher training program that prepares new teachers with the practical skills they need to succeed right away.

Springboard to Success will work in conjunction with the district’s Summer Bridge program and will run until June 28 at six sites. For the first time, one of the sites is a middle school, which is a pilot program.  Watch this video to learn more about Springboard to Success.
