Students showcase impressive art portfolios at the Florida State Fair contest

Artwork by eight Pinellas County Schools seniors won recognition at the 2025 Florida State Fair Art Portfolio Contest. The contest is the centerpiece of the Florida State Fair’s Youth Art Competitions. 

The prestigious event draws hundreds of talented students from across the state. Jurors chose 32 portfolios for the exhibit from entries submitted by 360 students from 96 schools in 31 counties. 

The contest showcases student creativity and provides scholarship opportunities. All the winning artwork was showcased at the Florida State Fair.

Congratulations to this year's winners: 

  • Natalie Galan of Gibbs High earned an Award of Merit, one of the top awards.
