SPC Spring Dual Enrollment Registration

What's required to enroll?
- For academic courses, a 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA or a 3.0 in the subject area to be studied at SPC
- For career courses, a 2.0 unweighted cumulative GPA or a 2.0 in the subject area to be studied at SPC
- Satisfactory scores on the College Placement Test (CPT/PERT), PSAT, SAT, ACT, or CLT
- PERT Registration - Click on Select a Testing Location
- SAT Registration
- ACT Registration
- CLT Registration
- Transportation to classes at SPC.
- To remain in the Dual Enrollment program, you must maintain a college GPA of 2.0 (C average).

- Because these courses are offered on our campus, you may NOT sign up for the following at SPC:

- Western Humanities: Ancient to Renaissance
- Career & Life Planning
- SPC General Education Requirements for an Associate in Arts Degree
- Search for Classes - Make sure you are in the SPRING term when searching for classes.
- Students who do not pick up their books during this time are responsible for the purchase of the required textbooks/materials at their own expense.
- Book Pick-Up Week is January 6-10
- Book Return Week is May 5-8
Using the class search above, email ALL of the following information to your counselor (counselor email addresses are listed below):

Dual Enrollment permission forms will not be completed if ANY of the above information is missing.
You MUST copy/include a parent on your email (i.e., send your response to your counselor and a parent).
Important Dates:
OCT 7 Submit the required information to your counselor as soon as possible
OCT 23 REGISTRATION/CONFIRMATION BEGINS

JAN 6-10 JAN 13 CLASSES BEGIN
Other Important Information:
- Students are only permitted to take the courses listed on the approved dual enrollment course list.
- Students are not permitted to take Express courses; you must register for "Regular 16-Week" courses.
- Enrollment in online courses is limited to ONE course per semester AFTER the student has successfully completed dual enrollment coursework on the college campus, as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher in these courses. You may, however, sign up for SPC LIVE ONLINE blended courses.
- Students who earned a "W" in the Fall term are NOT permitted to enroll in additional dual enrollment classes until the next Fall term.
- Dual enrollment classes CANNOT conflict with your high school classes. Also, class time in courses taken on the high school campus MAY NOT be missed due to travel time needed to participate in the dual campus option.
- Dual enrollment students are limited to no more than 6 college level courses each semester (this includes DE, AP, and AICE courses). No exceptions.
