SPC Fall Dual Enrollment Registration

What's required to enroll?
- For academic courses, a 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA or a 3.0 in the subject area to be studied at SPC
- For career courses, a 2.0 unweighted cumulative GPA or a 2.0 in the subject area to be studied at SPC
- Satisfactory scores on the College Placement Test (CPT/PERT), PSAT, SAT, ACT, or CLT
- Transportation to classes at SPC.
- To remain in the Dual Enrollment program, you must maintain a college GPA of 2.0 (C average).
To register for FALL Semester Dual Enrollment courses, you will need the following resources:

- Students MUST set up their college Live email address prior to completing the permission form.
- Approved Course List - Use this matrix to see which Dual Enrollment courses you are eligible for.

- Search for Classes - Make sure you are in the correct term when searching for classes. The Fall Term schedule will become available on April 7.
- Students who do not return Spring/Summer term books to the bookstore at the end of the SPC Spring/Summer semester will not be eligible to receive DE textbooks/materials and will also be subject to removal from Fall Dual Enrollment.
- Students who do not pick up their books during this time are responsible for the purchase of the required textbooks/materials at their own expense.
- Book Pick-Up Week is August 11-15 between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm
- Book Return Week is December 8-11
Important Information:
- Students are only permitted to take the courses listed on the approved dual enrollment course list.
- Students are not permitted to take Express courses.
- Enrollment in online courses is limited to ONE course per semester AFTER the student has successfully completed dual enrollment coursework on the college campus, as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or higher in these courses. You may, however, sign up for SPC LIVE ONLINE blended courses.
- Students who were withdrawn from a Spring Term dual enrollment course with a grade of "W" are not eligible to take additional dual enrollment classes until next spring.
- Dual enrollment classes CANNOT conflict with your high school classes. It is best if you choose classes that meet after 2:00pm.
- Class time in courses taken on the high school campus MAY NOT be missed due to travel time needed to participate in the dual campus option.
- Dual enrollment schedule changes or additions will not be permitted after May 29 unless needed for grade forgiveness.

Dual Enrollment permission forms will not be completed if ANY of the above information is missing.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: May 29 by noon

Submit the required information to your counselor as soon as possible.

FALL TERM REGISTRATION BEGINS
Requests will be processed beginning on this day in the order that they were received by SPC.
MAY 29 DE REGISTRATION DEADLINE
All required information must be submitted to your counselor before 12:00pm.
AUG 11-15 AUG 18 CLASSES BEGIN
AUG 22 DEADLINE TO DROP CLASS WITHOUT PENALTY
DEC 8-11 BOOK RETURN
Students who do not return books by this deadline will be dropped from SPRING classes immediately.
