DUAL ENROLLMENT

The University of South Florida offers college classes to qualified high school students in Pinellas County at no cost to the student. These courses allow students to earn credits towards a high school diploma and a college degree.Requirements:- Unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Meet the following minimum standardized test scores on one of the identified tests as needed for the requested course:
- SAT: 580 for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 580 for Mathematics
- ACT: 29 Composite Score, 29 for Reading and 21 for Mathematics
- PERT: 123 for Math, 106 for Reading and 103 for Writing
- The course is not available to the student at SPC
How to Apply:
Eligible Courses:
- Students may take classes listed on the Dual Enrollment Course - High School Subject Area Equivalency List that are not available to them at SPC as long as they meet all prerequisites and testing requirements for the course.
Students who attended in the Fall 2023:
- Students currently attending DO NOT need a new application.
- Submit Form 2 for Spring by the deadline of November 15th.
Students who completed the application for Fall but DID NOT ATTEND:
- Email dual enrollment with their name and U number so their semester can be updated to the requested Spring semester.
EARLY ADMISSIONS
Deadline: March 1
Early Admissions is now open for Juniors in high school that will be Seniors in the 2024-2025 school year.
Requirements:
- School Districts, Charter Schools, Private Schools and Homeschooled Administrators (Guardian) must have a Articulation Agreement.
- Have senior standing (have senior status) at the start of fall semester
- Have a minimum high school unweighted GPA of 3.8
- Have minimum scores on one of the following tests:
- SAT: 1300, with at least 580 in Critical Reading and 580 in Mathematics
- ACT: 29, with at least 29 in English
