    In addition to the student's private lessons, the core curriculum for all music majors includes the following:
    • Music Theory I and II
    • Music History
    • One major ensemble during each semester of residence
    • Electives and other course requirements by major

    The Vocal Division requires the following courses:

    • Acting for the Singer
    • Class Piano
    • Two additional arts electives
    The Instrumental Division for Strings, Percussion, Woodwinds, and Brass majors require the following courses:
    • Introduction to Instrumental Performance
    • Three additional arts electives
    The Instrumental Division for Piano requires the following courses:
    • Piano I, II, III, and IV
    • Two additional arts electives
    The Instrumental Division for Guitar requires the following courses:
    • Guitar I, II, III, and IV
    • Three additional arts electives
