INTEGRATED ARTS EXPERIENCE
Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, the PCCA program will offer a new program option for students who apply to the program. The Integrated Arts program gives PCCA students the ability to experience a survey of arts courses across arts disciplines.
- Integrated Arts Students will have the opportunity to take a selection of classes in all seven arts areas (Dance, Design Technology, Instrumental Music, Musical Theatre, Performance Theatre, Visual Arts, and Vocal Music).
- Integrated Arts Students will not have access to core arts major classes. Those classes remain audition only.
- Integrated Arts students must apply to PCCA via the student reservation system. They are not required to audition for the program.
- Students who apply to a PCCA Major Program and do not complete an audition will be offered a seat in the Integrated Arts Program.
- Integrated Arts students will be encouraged to audition for a PCCA major program once they are enrolled and will have that option until January 1st of their sophomore year, but are not required to audition.
- Integrated Arts students will not:
- Have Private Lessons
- Complete Juries
- Complete Extended Hours
- Perform a Senior Project
- Be eligible for school based financial aid for field trips
- Integrated Arts students will be held to the same academic, attendance, and behavioral standards as students in an Arts Major Program
