Many thanks to Carwise Middle NJHS!!
On Saturday, April 30th, the Carwise Middle chapter of the National Junior Honor Society sponsored the Carwise Brings the HEAT Walk to benefit the HEAT Program.
Dr. Christine Cantrell, Homeless Liaison for HEAT, and Ms. Jennifer Eaton, Carwise Social Worker & school HEAT MVA Contact joined in the kick off of the walk. NJHS members, their families and friends along with school principal, Chad Eiben and 8th grade assistant principal, Asimina Patton, were part of the crowd of 85 that gathered for the first Carwise Brings the HEAT Walk. This event raised about $1,100.00 to benefit the students served by the HEAT Program.
