This site provides an online countywide directory of all the community and financial resources and volunteer opportunities available in Pinellas County, Florida. There is virtual library with downloadable information on community resources and volunteering. NAEHCY is the only professional association that is specifically dedicated to homeless education.
National Center for Homeless Education at SERVE
This site is dedicated to the education of homeless children and youth. It includes a Help-line that describes all the local McKinney Programs in each state, and it includes a bibliography of homeless education resources.
The National Coalition for the Homeless
This is a very comprehensive site about homelessness which includes information on the education of homeless children and youth and the Stewart B. McKinney Act (see links below).
The National Law Center
This site provides general information about homelessness and provides a bibliography of articles and reports on various aspects of homelessness. It also includes a list of the educational rights of homeless children and youth.
Pinellas County Homeless Leadership Alliance
The Pinellas County Homeless Leadership Alliance is an independent community-based not-for-profit organization that provides public education, advocacy, program support, capacity building and technical assistance to the homeless service community. The Board's ultimate goal is to end homelessness.
