Our Pinellas Virtual School franchise serves students in kindergarten through 12th grade:

For students in K-5, Pinellas Virtual School offers free enrollment in a full-year program. Students and learning coaches receive instructional oversight by highly qualified teachers who use the latest technologies for online learning.

Students in grades 6-12 may enroll in Pinellas Virtual School part-time or full-time. Public school, private school, charter school, home education and students new to Pinellas County are eligible to apply.

Full-Time Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School Year - OPENS MAY 11, 2025 - CLOSES JULY 11, 2025.

Pinellas Virtual School (PVS) open enrollment period for the full-time program for the 2025-2026 school year will open May 11, 2025 and close on July 11, 2025. 

Pinellas Virtual School (PVS) open enrollment period for the full-time program for the 2026-2027 school year will open in May 2026 and close July 2026.

Part-Time Enrollment: For students attending public brick and mortar schools, you can register for one or more classes with Pinellas Virtual School anytime of the year:

Advanced Placement and Honors Credit

Most high school courses can be taken for Advanced Placement or honors credit. During the registration process, you will be able to select the regular, honors, or Advanced Placement version of the desired course, if it is available.

PVS AP courses include AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Human Geography, AP Statistics, AP Pre-Calculus and AP U.S. History. Students can attend a brick-and-mortar school and sign up as part-time PVS students to take AP courses. New AP Courses coming to PVS: AP US Government and Politics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, and AP Calculus AB.
