Pinellas County Schools Referendum is up for renewal in November

The renewal of Pinellas County Schools Referendum will be on the Nov. 3 General Election ballot. The Referendum boosts reading, art and music programs, provides up-to-date technology and textbooks, and helps recruit and retain quality teachers. Voters have renewed the Referendum every four years since its initial approval in 2004. An independent citizens committee oversees Referendum expenditures to ensure money is spent as voters intended. Wednesday, August 27,2020

    Good evening Parents/Guardians,

This is Osceola Middle School Principal Dr. Solomon Lowery with an important message.  A staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 at our school.  The Department of Health is conducting contact tracing, and all affected students’ parents have been notified directly. Some students and staff members must quarantine for two weeks and will receive instruction online through our Canvas Learning Management System.  Affected classrooms will be deep-cleaned and disinfected.

Per the Department of Health’s investigation, your student does not have to quarantine and can return to school tomorrow. As always, please continue to monitor your student for symptoms, and do not send your student to school if he or she is not feeling well.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.
