    Good evening Chiefs,

THANKS for your unwavering support of our commitment to educating students here at OMS!  As I take a moment to reflect on our challenges, successes, and opportunities for growth; I must begin with applauding our Teachers and Staff for their resiliency in working towards continuous improvement throughout our School Community.  Please take some a moment to spend time with family and loved ones as we celebrate Thanksgiving during the upcoming week.  Parents/Guardians, I solicit your support in keeping our students engaged during the week through participation in the Thanksgiving Break Bingo Challenge (see attachments below).  This is a fun and easy way to continue learning during the break and we compete against other middle schools in Pinellas County.  All students will be provided with the attached bingo sheet to participate in the challenge and return to the grade level office after the break.  Participating students will be provided a dress down day and points will be awarded to the grade level with the greatest level of participation for the school spirit stick (during the next pep rally).  Please be safe and enjoy your time off.

Good evening, Osceola Middle School Families.

Our 6th graders have a unique opportunity to attend a Career Expo trip on Dec. 4th, 2019. The trip will be at Pinellas Technical College - North Campus. Students will have opportunities to participate in hands-on activities using tools and equipment they might encounter in a future job. Students will also gain a better understanding of courses and paths of study they might consider in their high school career.

We need your help! Since we are taking the entire 6th grade class, we need parents to chaperone. Attached is a form you can print and complete to turn in to volunteer. All parents must be level 1 registered. On the bottom of the form, you will find a website where you can register. This could take up to two weeks to process, so please do this soon. We hope you will consider attending this event with your student. Thank you for your continued support of Osceola Middle school, have a wonderful weekend.

    Sincerely,

    Dustin Adams
    Assistant Principal
