For those students interested, Pinellas County Schools will hold a “Painting with Pixels” interactive art enrichment event on Thursday March 2nd at 6pm.  This is free for all students and will be accessible on Microsoft Teams where students can make digital artwork using their PCS device.  See the email update for he link to join.

This week our guideline for success focus is on being respectful where we will continue to emphasize to students the importance of having positive interactions with peers and how even comments that you feel are just joking hurt feelings and often times escalate to more serious circumstances. We also will reiterate how keeping hands to yourself is important as playful tapping and chasing often leads to someone getting hurt.  Thank you for your support in discussing and reinforcing this with your child.

Just a reminder for 6th grade parents, it’s time to make an appointment at the doctor’s office or health department for your child to receive their required immunization for 7th grade.  Students entering 7th grade in the fall will need the Tdap shot before the first day of school or your child will not be allowed to enter school.  You can drop off your updated immunization form in the front office any time!  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Cruz our nurse or Mrs. Levecque.

Our Fun Friday tee day we will be OMS Spirit day where students are to wear OMS shirts or colors.

That’s all the announcements for this week. Thank you parents for your support and have a great weekend!
